This link signifies the connection between the old and the new. The main house was a fully renovated structure. The new building is a garage with guest quarters above with a bridge connecting to the main house.
The client’s eclectic taste was interpreted into a European feel with elements such as a French range, German-smeared stone, warm earthy tones of soft walnut wood, limestone and soft green hues. Textural and earthy materials are reflected in the furnishings.
Unique architectural details were carefully crafted into bookcases, built ins and fireplaces.
Certainly not a conventional palette for a house perched on the water with harbor views.
